VisBook gears up in Denmark – a large conference hotel becomes a new customer

Hospitality tech company VisBook, with its Property Management System (PMS) is gaining increasing market shares in Scandinavia. Already a market leader in Norway and rapidly growing in Sweden, VisBook is now investing in Denmark as well. Several hotels in Denmark have already chosen VisBook as their PMS software, and now Vingsted has also become a customer. With capacity for thousands of guests and for hosting large corporate events, Vingsted is one of Denmark’s largest hotel and conference facilities.

The conference hotel Vingsted is an attractive meeting place with scenic surroundings that is ideally located in central Denmark. Mette Ravn is CEO at Vingsted, where she has worked for nine years. Mette says that the future plans for Vingsted are to continue the development and growth that were underway before the corona crisis. She hopes that the hotel system VisBook can help the business get closer to its goals.

“The PMS is the heart of our hotel business. It is fundamental for us to be able to deliver a good guest experience. With VisBook, we can use the same IT system in all departments and thus create a better ‘flow’ at Vingsted”, says Mette.

Being able to synchronize all parts of the business, such as hotels, conferences and restaurants, is important, Mette says. This means that Vingsted can provide the best possible experience to its customers. She believes that other conference hotels in Denmark have similar needs and that Denmark needs an attractive PMS at facilities across the country.

“VisBook’s greatest advantage is that it is very user-friendly. One of the reasons that we chose to change our hotel system to VisBook is that it is very modern and easy to use”, says Mette.

The company VisBook provides an all-in-one system for hotel operations with a focus on less administration and more time to focus on the guests. VisBook sees great opportunities in Denmark. Arne Hegstad, Head of Sales at VisBook, says that the company is in an exciting growth phase and believes that there will be many new customers in Denmark in the future.

“During the customer meetings I have had in Denmark, I have been scolded that VisBook has not been in Denmark before”, says Arne with a laugh. “VisBook solves so many problems in all business departments with just one product”.

Arne says that he has been to several customer meetings in Denmark, and that four out of five customer meetings on average end with the business switching to VisBook immediately. He says that they choose VisBook because the hotel can get rid of five to ten different systems and instead use only VisBook – and that they also get access to Nordic support.

“Now that several major players in Denmark have switched their PMS to VisBook, we are getting quite busy at the sales department, which is incredibly fun and exciting”, says Arne.
